Beer League Hockey Hall of Fame Honouree Categories
The Players Category of the BLHHOF is dedicated to those that excel as a skater ( Forward, Defense or Goalkeeping ). they show skill at a level that is beyond the average skater. They have set a standard in play, with stats that back up an argument, showing their worth of recognition as an all-time great.
The Veterans Category of the BLHHOF is dedicated to those who took up the sport at a later age. They may not have played any hockey as a youth, and had taken up the sport as an adult. While stats may not show they excel, games played show their commitment to the game.
The Spirit Category of the BLHHOF is dedicated to those who show an unwavering and unmatched love of hockey. They may or may not play the game. However they go beyond in their support of the game and those involved. Also known as the Heart & Soul category.
The Builders Category of the BLHHOF is dedicated to those in the sport that help grow the game. They don't have to be players. They go beyond for the game of hockey and all that enjoy the sport at any level.
The Teams Category of the BLHHOF is dedicated to teams that show commitment, excellence, and longevity to hockey. They are a team that embodies a culture of community. They feel like extended family, and are there for their members beyond the ice surface. They have passed the test of time and continue to thrive.
The Franchise Category is an extension of The BLHHOF Plaque. These Inductees support the mission of the The Beer League Hockey Hall of Fame. They show their commitment to hockey inclusivity and community by sponsoring, or have purchased the BLHHOF's ‘Franchise Package’ ( Yes! You can buy your way in to the BLHHOF : )
