Ghettoblasters

The GhettoBlasters Is a franchise that currently plays out of the Adult Safe Hockey League (ASHL). The Ghettoblasters or “Ghetto” as they are affectionately known as have also played in the Good Times Hockey League of The Arts (GTHLA) where they originated, as well as The Downtown Mens Hockey League (DMHL). The Ghettoblasters were established in 2010. The team has won two Divisional titles and one International tournament title. The Ghettoblasters have also hosted their own tournament called The Ghetto Classic. The tournament ran for 4 years. Starting as a cup challenge between two teams, it grew in to a two division 8 team tournament. The Ghettoblasters team is not just any team, it is a team that has an extended family of players that gather often for team and social events. Many of the players past and present are part of a larger international hockey community. Notably including Adrian “The Travelling Goalie” Mizzi
